Good Things From The Internet

Since being on the internet and paying attention to all its craziness is a good chunk of my full-time job, I'm aware of how depressing it can be.

Spending too much time online (and in the wrong places) can have you believing that the world is ending and everyone is actually insane. But sometimes the internet can be a place of hope, inspiration and even some positivity.

In accordance with my daily writing commitment, I wanted to round up my favorite things I've come across online this week, so we can all start off the weekend on a good note.

Here's your first weekly dose of internet happy:

If you've ever been inappropriately grabbed by a stranger, this video of a girl literally body slamming a creep who touched her will give you all the life (and yes, I wrote it; shameless work plug).

This step-by-step guide on how to get internet famous made me lol and want to practice on my poses.

Changing your life is actually a lot easier (and less exciting) then we'd like to believe.

A guy in my building created an Instagram account for his pug puppy, and the captions are just everything.

While we're talking about hilarious Instagram accounts, if you don't follow Comments By Celebs by now then why are you even on Instagram??

If your head feels like it's about to explode from just, you know, trying to survive, this might inspire you to take a well-deserved break from it all.

I've been on a mission to eat more veggies (and less junk food), and this Popcorn Broccoli recipe from Song of Style looks delish. Def trying this weekend.

Also, this list of things you should do for your soul every month is so simple and easy and TRUE.

And finally, this roundup of hilarious things pregnant women said they cried over.

Happy weekend!
